Scenes for summer at Hubberholme
Members of the Knit and Natter Group at Hubberholme have been busy again, filling the church with new 'residents' for the summer months.
The large window display at St Michael and All Angels Church originated from the group's entry for the Kettlewell Scarecrow Festival a few years ago celebrating Harvest.
In the Yorkshire Dales this is in spring time when the many lambs are born (left). The second window display is a scene depicting woodland animals, birds and flowers (below).
This colourful display follows the great success of the Christmas offering from the group, whose members made knitted figures depicting the Nativity story in a Yorkshire Dales style.
